Our beans are from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala at an altitude of 1500-1900  Altitude 1500-1900.  The rich rain forest soil give a truly robust and smooth flavor.  Never settle for bitter dark roast. 

 

- We are very proud to announce our beans are Rain Forest Alliance Certified.  In a time when the rain forest is being torn down for cheap palm oils and cheaper coffee.  Our truly amazing dark roast is shade grown under the canapy of the rain forest, utilizing some of the best farming soil in the world.

HARVEST TIME:
Huehuetenango is the highest and driest of Guatemala's non-volcanic regions. This renowned regionowes much to the dry, hot winds that come in from the mountains of Mexico's Tehuantepec plain. The additional heat layers protect Huehuetenango from frost and enable coffee to grow at altitudes of 2,000 masl.

 

Due to the high altitude, nearly all of Huehuetenango's producers process their own coffee. Fortunately, the region has rivers and streams in abundance, so mills can be placed almost anywhere.
